1. Who we are

ShredFinder is operated by Joana Fischer, an individual sole proprietor ("we", "us"). When you use ShredFinder you are entering into an agreement with Joana Fischer.

2. Accepting these terms

By creating an account, subscribing, or continuing to use ShredFinder, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the service. You must be of legal age in your country to subscribe, or have permission from a parent or guardian.

3. The service

ShredFinder is a subscription app for mountain bikers that offers trail discovery, maps, rider-reported conditions, ride logging, a bike garage and builder, AI-assisted bike inspection and trick coaching, and related features. Trail information, map pins, weather, part weights and AI feedback are estimates for general guidance only. Always check official trail sources, ride within your ability, and use appropriate safety gear. Mountain biking is a risky activity and you ride at your own risk.

4. Your account

Keep your login details confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

5. Acceptable use

You must not:

• use the service for anything unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful;
• post spam, abusive content, or photos/videos you don't have the rights to;
• infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy;
• interfere with security, introduce malware, probe for vulnerabilities, or scrape the service;
• reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the service, or bypass its technical limits.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of photos, comments, reports and videos you submit. You give us a limited licence to host, display and process them only to run the service. We may remove content that breaks these terms. AI features may produce inaccurate results — you are responsible for how you use them.

7. Intellectual property

We own the ShredFinder app, its software, design, documentation and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it for personal purposes while your subscription is active.

8. Payments, subscriptions and trials

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (weekly, monthly or yearly) until cancelled. New subscribers may receive a free trial; you will be charged when the trial ends unless you cancel before then. Payment, billing, taxes, cancellations and refunds are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. See also our Refund Policy.

9. Availability

We work to keep ShredFinder running smoothly but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that trail data is complete or current. The service is provided "as is" and, to the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these terms, fail to pay, pose a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously violate our policies. You may stop using the service and cancel at any time. When your account ends, we may delete your content after a reasonable period.

11. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost data or profits), and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence where the law does not allow it.

12. Changes and contact
